Today is a special day and one that for some reason, I have always felt is very close to my heart. Saint Bernadette has always been my favourite of the saints with her simplicity, innocence, deep faith and belief. It is her name I took at my confirmation.
How wonderful then, that this day has been designated a day of prayer worldwide for the sick and those who care for them. Maybe you could all join together with me in offering a prayer today for those most in need. Thank you.
