Happy and Blessed 2025

As we leave another year and head into a new one, we often think of all the people we have loved and maybe lost. They were part of our lives, but won’t be going into this new year with us as they did all those years before. What we have to remember though, is that although they aren’t here in bodily form, they are still with us in our memories that can never be taken away.

How lucky are we to have had their love when so many others are denied a family or loved ones of their own. We can cherish all we had, all we shared, what they taught us and have left behind as their legacy that we’ll never forget. Our memories are far more precious than money or material goods, those cherished memories, love and gifts of love and lessons they shared with us are what matter most. This is the beauty of having loved and of having been loved. It is a precious gift we should embrace and take with us into the New Year.

Something feels different this year though. It’s like we’re on the edge of something that will bring great changes to many of us. Not everyone obviously and not all can be good changes, but it still feels like something momentous will happen in the world that’ll affect us all in one way of another. I also feel 2025 will be a great year of change for many in their personal lives too.

Good change that has maybe been a long time coming for many of us, not so good for others. I’m hoping everyone reading this will get all they deserve in life during the coming New Year. Whatever you have sown so will you reap is what we’re told.

Each New Year is a time for new beginnings, just as Easter too is. It is a time we can reflect on the past, embracing all our experiences both good and bad. I especially feel the bad experiences and people are the ones we should be most thankful for, as they’re the ones that have taught us the most. They’ve made us into who we are today and strengthened us.

No one is beyond redemption if they know and love God, trusting in Him only and letting Him guide their every day. There’s nothing more I’d love to see in this coming year than people turning back to God. People who have maybe walked away from religion and sadly, God at the same time. I’d love to see people around the world coming back to being good, loving people and treasuring those in their lives rather than spreading so much division and hate as we sadly see around us. It’s something I pray for each night.

Hold dear those you love and keep them close whether it be family, lover or friend, as we never know when we might lose them and which day may be our last with them. Be kind to everyone you know or meet, spread love not hate, spread God’s light in the world, not darkness. My wish for each of you who do those things, is that in 2025 you receive them in return.

Trust in God when times are tough as He will see you through. Even if it isn’t how you hoped remember, He knows what’s best for all of us and why some bad and sad things have to happen. He sees the greater picture, we only see small sections at a time. We have to trust that the end result will be for the best – and it usually is.

Whatever 2024 brought you, embrace it, learn from the bad times, cherish the good times, but most of all, take your treasured memories plus hope, trust and faith in God into 2025 for with Him, all things are possible.

May God bless each and every one of you and your loved ones. Happy New Year Everyone,
