Christian Hypocrisy

People today have a very strange and warped idea of what Christianity means. Like so much else, it’s been dumbed down more and more as people make it into their own ideology rather than live it as it’s meant to be.

Is this because the Church of England and some other faiths are far removed of being anything of God now and more about people pleasing and bowing to their demands? Is it due to false ways that have no connection to God which people brand as their own form of what being spiritual means? Or is it just because far too many people have lost their moral compass in what’s fast become a godless, judgemental, immoral, materialistic world?

Whatever the reason, we’re seeing more and more people calling themselves Christians, but who are far from it. People filled with unjustifiable hate, anger, bigotry, intolerance, greed and immorality, while supporting others filled with the same traits. Abuse in various forms is rife and accepted as the norm, it’s even being supported and feted as the way to be.

I have walked away from Facebook as all we now see are posts filled with hate. Hate and bigotry are regularly seen being aimed at the disabled, elderly, members of LGBT community, people of religions that aren’t one’s own, people from other countries, of a different colour or anything else the haters of the world can hate, mock, ridicule and abuse.

Kindness is mocked and frowned upon as people filled with hate do all they can to destroy and discredit others they disapprove of for no reason other than they dare to exist. Generosity and compassion are two other things such people have no understanding of, as they mock those showing any signs of goodness and being true followers of Christ, yet such abusers still pretend they’re also Christians.

False Christians, hypocritical Christians are those who think because they were baptised into a Christian faith it makes them Christian even though they’ve chosen not to behave in a Christian like manner. To such people, Christianity means allowing anyone to do as they please with nothing needing to be answered for, called out or exposed and punished. They confuse judgement of deeds to judgement of why one does those deeds. The two types of judgement are very different.

Judging one’s deeds, whether good or bad, is acceptable and how we discern right from wrong, who is safe to be around and who isn’t. Judging why they did those deeds, if bad ones, and condemning them forever without knowing more is the wrong, unacceptable type of judgement. False Christians never recognise these differences and believe there’s only one type of judgement. As such, the ones who call others judgemental are always the guiltiest of it themselves.

False Christians accept bad behaviour, are seen to behave that way themselves, yet call out, mock and sneer at true Christian’s who expose abusers, liars, cheats, thieves, bigots and anyone filled with hate who makes lives of others a misery; people who make the world a much darker place to live in.

I refuse to be a supporter or enabler of badness. I refuse to sit back quietly and allow others to unjustly attack others due to their own bigotry and badness, especially when done in God’s holy name. I refuse to be a Judas or a Pontius Pilate and will call out hypocrisy, badness, corruption or anything else I see that’s wrong in life.

I refuse to sit back and watch the bigotry and hate that’s rife in this world as I believe in God, in His teachings as given us through His Son, Jesus Christ. I will spread love, but will call out badness. I will show compassion and kindness, but not sit back and watch people try to destroy others just because they can. I will not sit and watch a Church or body of people pretend to be of God when all they do offends Him greatly and goes against His laws.

I am human and am not without sin; none of us is, no matter how much one might think they are. We are here to learn, we are here to try to become more in God’s likeness as we can. We are here to show love, kindness, respect and acceptance unconditionally, but if we want to be as God, it means we also have to stand up against badness, call it out and destroy it where we can.

Being a true Christian doesn’t mean being all sweetness and light and a people pleaser who sits on the fence. It doesn’t mean we have to ignore badness or cruelty, unjust behaviour or corruption either. It means being strong, brave, courageous and standing up tall to expose all that’s wrong in this world that goes against Gods wishes and Jesus’ teachings.

For anyone being a fake Christian, of which there are far too many, I will expose you, I will call you out, I will not accept your badness, cruelty and treatment towards others done to destroy them and I certainly will not become one of you. I will never sit in a place of worship pretending to be holy and pious while being a deliberate liar, deceiver, cheat, abuser or bigot. I will not be as you. I will stand up strong and defeat you, just as Jesus did and taught us to also do when He was here.

Which Christian are you? Are you a people pleasing, fence sitting false Christian who either is an abuser, hater and bigot, or just an enabler and defender of those things? Or are you a true Christian who stands tall and strong against them, who exposes them and does not accept them? God despises hypocrites, thereby He only acknowledges and loves one type of Christian. If you want to save your soul and be saved, make sure you’re one of the ones He loves not despises.
