Easter Sunday is a day for new beginnings and starting afresh. It reminds us of Christ’s triumph over death.
As we think of our loved ones, gone before us in the knowledge they are in God’s heavenly kingdom, let us start to rejoice the knowledge of their rewards in heaven.
Let faith, hope and trust in God help us move forward from our grief of losing them from this earthly life and embrace the wonderful memories of the time they were allowed to be with us.
Easter reminds us, that one day, if living by God’s laws and truly repenting of all wrongs we have done in our human weakness, we too will rise again and be reunited in Paradise thanks to our love for God and of each other.
