Lately, I am seeing more and more people talking of Jesus only, doing videos where they talk fanatically and zealously about Him, with blog posts or comments to others forcing their beliefs (of just Jesus as a singular) on whoever they can. Usually, they are people who have only recently ‘found’ Christ (another name they don’t like) and make Him into their own liking yet still pretend they’re Christian’s. Sadly, I’ve found Born Again Christians amongst the worst for behaving in this way and of being very aggressive towards anyone believing in the Blessed Trinity or who are of the Orthodox Church.
Jesus alone is not any good to anyone as any proper Christian would know. The fact so many now omit the Father and the Holy Spirit says they are not actual Christians and are just new fanatics who will no doubt claim to be something else in the not too distant future. Ignoring so much of Jesus’ own teachings about His Father and the Holy Spirit is what tells us these people are not following Him, no matter how much they try to tell us they are.
I was told off today by someone telling me I was old fashioned and out of date for believing in and teaching about the Holy Spirit, The Holy Father and about God as a whole. They told me quite publicly that God was not necessary, was only about religion and that Jesus is all we need. How sad they can’t understand God and religion are two very different things.
I find that so terribly sad for two reasons. First, because they are forcing that belief on others while showing anger and total intolerance to proper Christian’s and about anyone believing anything different to themselves. They are not giving guidance or teachings where they allow anyone to make up their own minds and have no actual understanding of what and Who it is they profess to believe in.
The second and most important reason, is their belief that all they need is Jesus. They’re so wrong. Shouting His name forcefully and constantly everywhere is not saving their souls. It is not guiding others to save theirs either. They make everything in life about just Jesus. Their fanaticism is not healthy, not as God wants us to be and is more likely to turn people away from God rather than attract more to Him.
Jesus is only one part, yes an important part of the Blessed Trinity, but what they teach isn’t even what He came here to teach us. Jesus taught us about His Father, He taught us about the Holy Spirit, the oh so very important Holy Spirit, so how come these people refuse to use His teachings when they profess to follow Him?
They, like so many today, twist God, Jesus, the Holy Spirit, Supernatural gifts, angels and so much more connected to God and heaven into something of their own making, their own rules and ideology. How sad is this? How deluded. Baptism is no different. Hardly anyone today has a clue WHY babies are baptised and why it has to be as soon as possible after birth.
It is better to not know God at all and to live a life full of goodness rather than say you know Him and change Him to your own specification. For by doing that, you are basically denying Him as He will one day in return deny you. Jesus told us not all will know Him (His Father or the Blessed Trinity), but that those people too would be saved if they led good lives. He also told us that those who know God but deny Him are the people who will be turned away.
Jesus bashers do deny God as the whole being, preferring only what and Who they want Him to be. If only they would listen to Jesus’ teachings properly without twisting them or omitting parts they don’t like. If they did, maybe they would not behave as they do or speak so aggressively at people. The fact they call it old fashioned to believe in God as a whole tells me they follow a modern day trend rather than anything heavenly, a trend other than fact or truth as we were taught.
God is not a trend, He is not something or someone to be changed with the times, He is constant, He is steady, He is and always will be the first and the last. The Alpha and Omega. Man changes with the times, changes life and lifestyles. Religions change with the times due to people pressure, but God never does. He is the one and only constant. It would do people well to remember that.
You either choose to know God, follow and believe in Him in His entirety and according to His laws or you omit part or parts of Him changing the laws and Jesus’ teachings to suit yourselves. The choice is yours to make. For the sake of your souls, let us hope you make the right choice.
